Oklahoma's Best Escorted Tours

In 2019 we have added some longer, deluxe journeys in partnership with AMA Waterways, our primary river cruise operator, and with Globus, our primary ground operator in the U.S. and Europe.   Our spring trip to NYC leaves in two weeks and our annual fully escorted trip to New York in November is again the weekend before Thanksgiving.  This year that trip will have two Broadway shows rather than one + the Radio City Christmas Show, but the Christmas Show will still be available as an option for those who don't want to pass it up.

We have three day trips on our 2019 schedule for those who have to back in their own homes by nightfall:  to Crystal Bridges in August, an Oklahoma Fall Foliage tour in October, and to Norman in November.  A surprise addition this year, the Norman trip has a visit to the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art and the Sam Nopble Museum of Natural History as well as a tour of the National Weather Service.

I am planning several longer trips in 2020 - by motorcoach to Nashiville, and air inclusive trips to San Francisco (including Napa and Sonoma Valley wine tours) to Washington DC, and to New York.  All of our air-inclusive trips are priced from Tulsa and Oklahoma City but are available "land only" with lowest-available airfare add on from any North American city--ask for a quote.  Wherever you live, consider joining us on one of these trips on our upcoming schedule below. Click on the links at right for more information, and get a full-size printable flyer for any trip.  Call (918) 494-0649, email me at david@thetravelgroup.biz, or if you are in the neighborhood of 92nd and Sheridan in Tulsa, stop in and visit.  I would love to have you on one of the departures on our 2019 or 2020 schedules.

The Music Man

Two time Tony Winners Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster will star in a revival of the  The Music Man with book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Wilson, based on a story by Wilson and Franklin Lacey.    In 1957, the show became a Broadway hit winning five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and ran for 1,375 performances.

Ain't Too Proud
a new musical that follows The Temptations' extraordinary journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. With their signature dance moves and unmistakable harmonies, they rose to the top of the charts creating an amazing 42 Top Ten Hits with 14 reaching number one. Through friendship and betrayal amid the civil unrest that tore America apart, their moving and personal story still resonates five decades later.
